{"id":188,"date":"2013-03-15T00:56:32","date_gmt":"2013-03-15T00:56:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/openhumanitiespress.org\/feedback\/?page_id=188"},"modified":"2013-08-27T16:55:25","modified_gmt":"2013-08-27T16:55:25","slug":"science-contributors","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/openhumanitiespress.org\/feedback\/science-contributors\/","title":{"rendered":"Science Contributors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Chris Shaw<\/em><\/strong> is a Doctoral Candidate in English Literature at Texas Tech University, with specialization in Literature and Science, postmodern literature, detective fiction, and the literature of OULIPO.\u00a0 His dissertation explores connections between George Spencer-Brown\u2019s logic and deconstruction, using these to read the novels of Thomas Pynchon.\u00a0 He holds a Master\u2019s in Theory from the University of Western Ontario, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Michigan State University, and is a licensed professional engineer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Jamie Hutchinson<\/em><\/strong> is editor of electrical and computer engineering publications at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Jan M\u00fceggenburg<\/em><\/strong> is currently working as a pre-doctoral assistant at the Institute for Culture and Aesthetics of Digital Media at Leuphana University in Lueneburg, Germany, writing his dissertation on Heinz von Foerster\u2018s <i>Biological Computer Laboratory<\/i>. Between 1998 and 2005<b> <\/b>he studied media studies, philosophy and British cultural studies at Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum (Germany) and Edith Cowan University in Perth (Australia). From 2006 to 2010 Jan was a member of the graduate program \u2013 The Sciences in Historical Context \u2013 and a pre-doctoral assistant at the Institute for Philosophy at the University of Vienna.
